Introduction

This 18-day tour package that takes visitors through various cities and sites in Vietnam and Cambodia. The tour begins in Ho Chi Minh City, where visitors have some free time to explore the city on their own. On the second day, visitors explore the Cu Chi Tunnel, a network of underground tunnels used during the Vietnam War. The tour then heads to the Mekong Delta, where visitors take a boat trip on the Mekong River and visit a fruit plantation village.

The tour then heads to Phu Quoc Island for three days of relaxation on the beach. Visitors then head to Hoi An, where they have some free time to explore the town on their own before visiting the UNESCO World Heritage site of My Son Sanctuary. The tour then heads to Hue, where visitors visit the Thien Mu Pagoda, the Citadel, and the Hue Royal Antiques museum.

The tour then heads to Hanoi for a city tour that includes a visit to The Temple of Literature, Hoan Kiem Lake, and the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology. Visitors also take a cyclo tour of the Old Quarter of Hanoi. The tour then ends with a visit to Halong Bay, where visitors cruise through thousands of islands and islets and visit a Pearl Farm village. Finally, visitors head to Siem Reap in Cambodia to visit the Angkor Wat temple complex before the tour ends.

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh (Arrival)

Arrival at airport, we transfer you to hotel in Ho Chi Minh city. Rest of the day is your leisure time to explore the city on your own.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh (Explore Cu Chi tunnel)

Morning, we explore the Re-Unification Palace, which was the home and workplace of the president of South Vietnam during the Vietnam War, and played a pivotal role in the war's end. Visit the Notre Dame Cathedral, a stunning example of French colonial architecture, and learn about its unique history. Continue your tour at the War Remnants Museum, which provides a thought-provoking look into the harsh realities of the Vietnam War.

Afternoon, we leave the city and drive 60km to Cu Chi, where you can delve into the intricate system of tunnels and explore the Cu Chi Tunnel, an impressive feat of engineering that played a significant role in the Vietnam War. Afterwards, enjoy tea, cassava (guerrilla's food during the war). Once the tour is complete, we will make our way back to the city.

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh → Mekong delta

Following breakfast at the hotel, we will depart from Ho Chi Minh and head towards Ben Tre. Our journey will include a boat trip along the Mekong River, during which we will visit a family-run business that exemplifies the idyllic rural lifestyle. We will also have the opportunity to stroll through the fruit plantation village.

Day 4: Mekong delta → Ho Chi Minh

Around 6.30am, we pick you up to visit the Cai Rang floating market which is wholesale market of fruit and vegetable at its busiest at this time of the day. Keep cruising through the small channels system and visit a rice noodle making village. Experience the “Monkey Bridge” in the Delta.

Break for lunch then return to Ho Chi Minh.

Day 5: Ho Chi Minh → Phu Quoc

Morning, enjoy your breakfast at hotel in Hoi An. We transfer you to Da Nang airport for flight to Phu Quoc island.

Morning, enjoy your breakfast. Take a relaxation before we transfer you to Phu Quoc airport for flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival at airport, we welcome and transfer you to Hoi An.

Day 9: Hoi An (visit My Son sancturay)

Morning breakfast at hotel. Today, we start the tour by visiting My Son Sanctuary, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Afternoon, visit Hoi An town on foot: Hoi An’s Colorful Local Market, Old House of Tan Ky, Fu Jian Assembly Hall, and the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge.

Day 12: Hue → Hanoi

Hue city tour. Get a boat trip to Thien Mu Pagoda. We then continue our visit at the Citadel & Hue Royal Antiques museum. Visit Dong Ba Market and have lunch at a nearby restaurant.

After lunch, visit tomb of King “Minh Mang” and Tomb of King “Khai Dinh”. Proceed our tour at a nearby village where people making incense stick and conical hat. After that, we transfer you to airport for flight to Hanoi.

Day 13: Hanoi (city tour)

Explore the Temple of Literature, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and discover the rich history of Vietnam's first university. Walk around the picturesque Hoan Kiem Lake, and visit the Ngoc Son Temple, perched on an island in the lake. Continue your exploration at the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, which showcases the diverse ethnic groups of Vietnam through fascinating exhibits and artifacts.

Day 14: Hanoi → Halong bay

Morning, enjoy breakfast at hotel and depart for Halong Bay at approximately 8:00am.

Upon arrival in Halong Bay, we will board the vessel and partake in a delectable lunch. During the meal, we will cruise through thousands of stunning islands and islets. Following lunch, you may freshen up in your room before embarking on a visit to the Surprising Cave, kayaking, swimming, and other activities. Day 15: Halong bay → Hanoi

In the morning, breakfast will be served on board. We will then proceed to cruise to a Pearl Farm village and continue exploring the enchanting Halong Bay, navigating through numerous captivating islands and islets.

During lunch on board, we will make our way back to the pier before transferring back to Hanoi.

Morning, spend your leisure time in Hanoi. Explore the capital city on your own.

Day 17: Siem Reap (explore Angkor)

In the morning, you will visit Angkor Thom, the ancient capital of the Khmer empire. Then, you will continue your visit to Ta Prohm, a stunning temple complex with trees and vegetation growing around and through its structures. Lunch will be at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, you will visit Angkor Wat, the most famous of all the temples in Angkor. Angkor Wat is a massive temple complex and is one of the largest religious monuments in the world.

In the evening, enjoy buffet dinner and watch Khmer Traditional Dance Show at a local restaurant.

ADD-ON: Beng Mealea & Koh Ker

We depart the city at 8:00am and head to Koh Ker, which takes about 1.5 hours. Upon arrival, we will venture into the deserted ruins and surrounding forest and explore the Koh Ker temple complex, the former capital of the Angkorian empire during the years AD 928 to AD 944.

10.30am, we drive back to Siem Reap. On the way back, we stop at two famous temples: Prasat Neang Khmaw & Prasat Pram. Lunch at a local restaurant near Beng Mealea temple.

1.30pm, we visit Beng Mealea temple. Enjoy a short walk through the dense jungle and discover the wonders of an overgrown temple, Beng Mealea, which lay undiscovered for centuries. We proceed to the last one that we visit today, Banteay Srey, the “gem” of the Angkor area.

Day 18: Siem Reap (departure)

Morning, start the tour by visiting the National Museum. Here, you can explore a collection of Khmer art, artifacts, and historical exhibits that provide insights into the culture and history of Cambodia.

After the museum, take a boat trip on Tonle Sap Lake, one of the largest lakes in Asia. This is an opportunity to enjoy stunning views of the lake and see some of the local fishing villages and floating communities that call it home.

After the lake tour, head to downtown to visit Artisan's D'angkor, the carving art school, where you can witness the intricate art of stone carving and other traditional crafts. Next, continue your visit to Wat Thmei, a beautiful pagoda that is known for its memorial stupa that contains the skulls of Khmer Rouge victims.

Afterward, enjoy lunch and spend some leisure time in Siem Reap until it is time for your departure flight home.
