Tours & departures

How do your tours run — group or private?

Nearly all of our tours run as small-group tours with daily departures. If you would rather travel with no one but your own party, any itinerary can be upgraded to a fully private tour with your own guide and driver.

Can I choose any departure date?

Yes. Tours depart every day of the year, so you pick the start date that suits you — there is no waiting for a group to fill. The only exception is our special deals, which run on fixed dates with limited seats.

Is there a minimum group size? Can I travel solo or as a couple?

There is no minimum — two travellers, or even one, is perfectly fine, and your departure is never cancelled for lack of numbers. Solo travellers are welcome on every itinerary.

Can I customise an itinerary, or add days before and after the tour?

Yes — every itinerary is tailor-made. Extend your stay, add destinations such as Sapa or a beach break, skip what does not interest you, or adjust the pace. Tell us what you have in mind and we will build it into your quote.

Which countries do you cover?

Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Myanmar — as single-country tours or multi-country combinations, from short 4–5 day trips to journeys of three weeks and more.

Flights & getting there

Are international flights included?

Tours in our For Australia, For America, For Canada and For United Kingdom collections include round-trip international flights in the package price. All other tours are land packages — you arrange your own international flights, while internal flights within the itinerary are still included.

Which cities can I fly from?

Australia: Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane and Adelaide. United States: Los Angeles, New York JFK, San Francisco, Dallas–Fort Worth, Chicago, Houston, Miami, Atlanta, Seattle, Boston, Detroit and Denver. Canada: Toronto, Vancouver, Montréal and Calgary. United Kingdom: London Heathrow, Manchester, Edinburgh and Birmingham. Flying from somewhere else? Choose “Other city” and we will quote your fare.

Which airline will I fly with?

We book reputable full-service airlines. The exact airline depends on your departure date and availability, and is confirmed with you at booking time.

Do you help with visas?

Yes. Most nationalities can enter Vietnam on an e-visa, and requirements vary by passport and destination — tell us your nationality and travel dates and our consultants will guide you through the paperwork.

Pricing & booking

How does pricing work — is the “from” price per person?

Yes, all prices are per person. The “from” price is the lowest rate across departure dates; the final price depends on your travel date, group size and hotel category. Open the availability calendar on any tour page to see the exact price for your dates, shown in your local currency.

I want my own room — is there a single supplement?

Yes. Solo travellers — or companions who prefer separate rooms — can have their own room throughout for a single supplement. The amount varies by tour and season, so ask us for the exact figure with your quote.

Do you offer child prices for families?

Families are very welcome, and itineraries can be adapted to your children’s ages. Child pricing depends on age and room arrangement — send us your family’s details and we will prepare a family quote.

How do I get a quote or book?

Send an enquiry from any tour page, or message us on WhatsApp — a consultant replies within an hour. We will confirm dates, flights and any changes you would like before you book.

Is travel insurance included?

No — travel insurance is not included, and we strongly recommend arranging comprehensive cover in your home country before you travel.

On tour

Will we have a guide with us throughout the trip?

Yes — an English-speaking guide and driver accompany you throughout the journey, not just at individual sights. On a private tour, the guide is exclusively yours and can also help during free time with translation or shopping.

Is the Halong Bay cruise included?

Most of our Vietnam itineraries include an overnight Halong Bay cruise with meals on board. Check the day-by-day itinerary on the tour page, or ask us to add a cruise to any route that does not have one.

Will we have free time for shopping and relaxing?

Yes. Guided sightseeing does not fill every hour — evenings are generally free, and most itineraries build in leisure days, especially in places like Hoi An and the beach stops.

Can you cater for dietary requirements?

Yes — vegetarian, gluten-free and other requirements can be arranged with advance notice. Mention them in your enquiry and we will brief the guides, hotels and restaurants along your route.

Who our tours suit

Are your tours suitable for seniors or travellers with limited mobility?

Absolutely — around half of our guests are seniors, and itineraries are deliberately paced with comfort in mind. If anyone in your party prefers shorter walks or has mobility needs, tell us when you enquire: we can adjust the pace, add rest stops and skip the more strenuous sections.

When is the best time to visit?

Broadly, October to April brings the most comfortable weather across the region. Within Vietnam it varies: the north is at its best from October to December and March to April, the centre from February to July, and the south from December to April. Tell us your dates and we will shape the route to suit the season.
