Day 1: Luang Prabang (arrival)
Arrival at airport in Luang Prabang, we welcome you and transfer you to hotel. Check-in at hotel.

Day 2: Luang Prabang
After breakfast, you’ll visit the Royal Palace Museum, built in 1904 for King Sisavang Vong during the French colonial era. Then, enjoy a serene Mekong River cruise to the Pak Ou Caves, filled with thousands of Buddha statues. En route, stop at Ban Xanghai village to see local rice wine production. Back in the city, visit Wat Sene and Wat Xiengthong, known for its stunning temple architecture and mosaics. If time allows, explore the arts and crafts villages of Ban Xangkhong and Ban Xienglek. End the day with a sunset at Wat Prabath and a visit to the vibrant Night Market.

Day 3: Luang Prabang → Vang Vieng
At sunrise, you’ll participate in Laos’ sacred alms-giving tradition, where over 200 Buddhist monks collect food from locals. Afterward, visit the morning market near the Royal Palace, where residents trade goods like rice, vegetables, and fish. Following breakfast, climb 329 steps to Phousi Hill for panoramic views of the city and Mekong River. Then, head to Kuang Si Waterfall, the largest in the region, with stunning azure pools perfect for swimming.
After exploring nearby Ban Thapene village, you’ll transfer to the train station for a one-hour ride to Vang Vieng, where you’ll be taken to your hotel.

Day 4: Vang Vieng

Day 5: Vang Vieng → Vientiane
In the morning, we’ll explore the local market to experience everyday life in a typical Lao rural town. After breakfast, visit Tham Jang Cave, a historic refuge from Chinese invaders 200 years ago, followed by a trip to Tham Nangfa (Angel Cave), known for its impressive limestone formations and unique stalactites. Enjoy some relaxation at the Blue Lagoon before returning to Vang Vieng.
We then bid farewell to Vang Vieng and drive to Vientiane, a capital city blending Lao, Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, and French influences along the Mekong River.

Day 6: Vientiane
In the morning, visit Wat Si Muang, renowned for its supernatural power, before driving 45 minutes to Buddha Park (Xieng Khuan), home to over 200 Buddhist and Hindu statues. Back in town, visit COPE, an organization supporting landmine victims, and learn about the lasting effects of unexploded ordinances from the American/Vietnam war. In the afternoon, visit the golden spire of That Luang, the holiest site in Laos, followed by a climb to Patuxai for panoramic city views. Explore Wat Sisaket, the only temple left intact after the 1828 Siamese invasion, and nearby Wat Phra Keo, a museum of Lao and Khmer art, before ending the day with a sunset stroll along the Mekong River.
