Begin your journey to tranquil Xing Xu Island, just outside Vientiane. From Ban Kaolieu, take a boat ride with locals to the island. Visit a revered temple known for its “lucky numbers,” and explore a small village of about 200 residents who raise pigs and goats. Ride a tuk-tuk or local tractor to tour the island, then enjoy a traditional lunch at a local eatery. After some time to relax and take in the scenery, return by boat and transfer back to your hotel.
