Day 1. Yangon / Arrival

Arrive at Yangon International Airport. Welcome by our well-experienced guide. Transfer to your hotel.

Overnight in Yangon.

Day 2: Yangon

Morning Yoga & Meditation session by facing the open fresh air for 120 mins, which can reduce stress for
a healthier and fulfilling life.

At afternoon, today we will have half day sightseeing for visit to the old colonial-style city center with city hall, Mahabandoola Park with Independence Monument, Strand road and Yangon Jetty by Car. Then continue visit to Bogyoke Aung San (Scott) Market, is the most popular market (close on every Monday & Public holiday) and where you can buy luxury item, handicrafts, food stuff, clothing, jewelry, fashion and consumer goods.

Evening visit to the world famous Shwedagon Pagoda. Witness the golden dome light up sunshine at the sunset.

Day 3: YangonMandalay

(BY FLIGHT 10:00-11:00 HRS)

Breakfast at hotel, transfer to the airport to take domestic flight to Mandalay. Arrive at Mandalay, half day sightseeing tour of Mandalay by car includes Mahamuni Pagoda, gold of hammering, Mandalay Palace. From there, you will have new experience by visiting trishaw to Kuthodaw Pagoda by surrounding 729 inscribed marble slabs, known as “the world’s largest book”, Shwenandaw “Golden Palace Monastery” to observe finest Myanmar wooden architecture, and visit Atumashi Monastery.

Evening, enjoy sunset from beautiful U Bein Bridge which is more than two centuries old and at 1.2 km longest teakwood span in the world. Overnight in Mandalay.

Day 4: Mandalay

After breakfast, today visit Amarapura. Highlights include Mahagandayon Monastery which is a school for young monks and observe the lunch process in morning. Then, proceed to Sagaing, the hilltops, each crested with a pagoda, the banners proclaiming the Buddha’s teaching, the refuge from all ills and tribulations where over 600 monasteries for monks and nuns are located for Buddhist studies and mediation. Visit to U Min Thonze (or Thirty Caves Pagoda) which has many Buddha images in a shaped colonnade and the impressive Soon Oo Pon Nya Shin Pagoda and enjoy panoramic view from Sagaing Hill.

At afternoon, boat trip to visit Ava (Innwa), it is located on an island between Ayeyarwaddy and Myitnge Rivers. The tour can visit Ava by horse cart to Nanmyint Watch Tower, The Maha Aung Mye Bonzan well known as Me Nu Oak-Kyaung (Brick Monastery) was built in 1822, Bagaya Monastery, Lacquer ware industry, Yadana Hsimi Pagoda and Inwa Bridge spanning the Ayeyarwaddy River.

Day 5: MandalayMonywa

After breakfast, drive by road to Monywa, about 136 km to the west of Mandalay, a major center of trade and commerce for agricultural product from surrounding Chindwin Valley. Arrive Monywa, visit Mohnyin Thanmbuddhei Pagoda with over 500,000 images of Buddha and Giant Reclining Buddha at Bodhi Tahtaung (one thousand Bodi Tree) Shwezigon Pagoda, Laykyun Setkya Pagoda, and Phowintaung Cave where mural paintings cover the walls and ceilings of the cave, depicting the jataka reincarnation stories of the Buddha. Transfer to hotel.

Day 6: MonywaBagan

Special activity: opportunity to experience the country lifestyle by visiting a typical Myanmar village.

After breakfast, drive to Pakokka jetty for excursion boat on the Ayeyarwaddy River to Bagan. On the way, visit Ma U Ma Le village for an opportunity to learn more about the lifestyle and culture of the countryside residents. Then, continue to Yayzagyou where we will visit the wooden Pakhangyi Monastery, built in 1886. Afternoon, proceed to Pakokka, an un-spoiled small town renowned for tobacco trading and weaving shops.

Enjoy a leisurely two-hour boat trip to Bagan.

Day 7: Bagan

Add-On: Sightseeing with Balloon.

Early morning, the tour starts for surprise discover day to see the ancient city of Bagan form above. Client’s enjoy a magnificent bird’s eye view of thousand-year-old pagodas, temples and the mighty Ayeyarwaddy River with “BALLOONS” flying over Bagan. It is a very exiting experience and clients will never forget. The Balloon is guided by gentle wind and chance to see slowly the sun rising. And it operates start form 01 Oct till 10 Apr for every year.

Today, we offer morning cooking class and start at the market where we browse and do some shopping the walk to local house for cooking, chatting and enjoy lunch. Our aim is to introduce you not only to Myanmar food but also our culture, lifestyle and how food and dining is a key part of our social life. We are not professional chefs, we just love sharing food and stories with travelers. The class is at local house with local cooking equipment and traditional recipes- part of it is hands-on and part is demonstration. The menu includes soup, salad and main course. Then, back to hotel for leisure time.

Overnight in Bagan. (B,L)

Day 8: Bagan

Breakfast at hotel, the tour visit to the one of Asia’s most popular archeological destination. We will visit colorful Naung U Market and visit some of Bagan most famous pagodas, including Shwezigon Pagoda, which is the most important reliquary shrine and house images of 37 Nats in Bagan. Then, continue visit to Kyansittha Uhmin (Cave), Gupaukgyi Temple, it is a 13th century cave temple with interesting fine frescoes of sconces from the Jataka.

At afternoon, the tour continues visit to Htilominlo Temple with old murals and friezes and then approach to Tharabar Gate way into Old Bagan. Then, visit to Ananda Temple it is a whitewashed masterpiece and with four standing Buddha Images, Thetbyinnyu Temple, Dhamayangyi Temple which is famous for its interlocking mortar thickest brickwork. Late afternoon, continue to Shwesandaw Pagoda.

Day 9: BaganKalaw

(FLIGHT 09:25-10:05 HRS)

After breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport domestic flight to Heho, Arrival Heho, drive by road to Kalaw. Kalaw is a former colonial British hill station on the western edge of the Shan Plateau in Myanmar and it is cool during the day and cold at night. There are many hiking trails amid gnarled pines and bamboo groves. Palaung Tribe Village is also famous for trekking and a narrow valley where the Palaung cultivate cheroot, tea, damsons and mangoes on the hill.

Arrive at hotel. Rest of the day is your leisure time.

Overnight in Kalaw. (B,L)

Day 10: Kalaw

After breakfast, start Kalaw trekking with beautiful view of rice terraces in the valley surrounded by pine forest. Walk through pine forest along the way to Pa-O village and meet with local people working hard in the fields of garlic and rice harvest. See amazing view of the highest mountain in the area with several village at the bottom.

Visit Pan Lone Village of Pa-O tribes of Mongolian origin women wears traditional costumes of indigo color dresses with bright red colored head scuff. We can learn about their interesting culture and traditions. Visit a family home and have tea together.

Continue our journey for an hour to Sha-Pin Village of Danu tribes. Along the way we pass through thick pine forest with great views and visit a forest monastery.

Have lunch cooked by our chef and have a rest for a while. Visit the village of Danu tribes at the top of the mountain with bird’s eye view from there and continue trekking for 2.5 hrs with the view of vast valley filled with rice terraces and small villages. Return to hotel.

Overnight in Kalaw.

Day 11: KalawInle Lake

After breakfast, morning visit one of the 5 Days rotation market (only on market day) and sightseeing for magical Inle Lake, which is located 1328 meters above sea level and 22 km long and 11 km wide. Highlights include the fisherman rowing in the one-legged style characteristic of Inle Lake boatmen and the gardens of grass and earth floating on the surface of this shallow lake used for growing vegetables.

Besides the enjoyment of the scenery we can also visit the holiest religious site Phaungdaw Oo Pagoda, Silk Weaving Village of Inphawkhon, Burmese Cats House, Cheroot making and other cottage industries.

Then, visit to Nga Phe Kyaung Monastery, a beautiful old teak wood building. If time permit, you will have experience for catching fish in the shallow water by using just one leg to balance on water like a Inntha fisherman.
Return to hotel.

Overnight in Inle Lake.

Day 12: InleYangon

(BY FLIGHT 11:00-12:10 HRS)

Breakfast at hotel, fly back to Yangon. Transfer to hotel and leisure.

Day 13: Yangon / Departure

Breakfast at hotel, leisure time at hotel or shopping by your own arrangement until transfer to Yangon international airport for departure.
