Itinerary

Day 1: Bangkok / Arrival

Arrive any time today; we’ll be there to get you from the airport; then bring you to hotel. Once settled in, you’ll have free time to explore, before meeting your new travel buddies. In the evening we’ll take you to one of our favourite restaurants, followed by a few buckets on notorious Khao San road.

Day 2: Bangkok → Kanchanaburi

We’ll leave Bangkok in the morning and head north to Kanchanaburi, but not before stopping off at one of our favourite spots, the Taling Chan floating market. Once we arrive into Kanchanaburi, we’ll take a boat cruise along the River Kwai, checking out all the best spots Kanchanaburi has to offer. We’ll visit museums and temples, pass under the famous bridge, and enjoy the sunset from the bridge itself.

Day 3: Kanchanaburi / Erawan waterfalls

Packed your swimming costume if you wish to have some relaxed acivities at the waterfall! Today we’re hitting the Erawan waterfalls, just an hour drive outside of Kanchanaburi. It’s a seven-tier waterfall with pools and natural slides, and each level is just as impressive as the other. It’s a great spot for some photos! We’ll then head back into town for dinner and drinks.

Day 4: Kanchanaburi → Ayutthaya → Chiang Mai

Ancient ruins & history

Enjoy a lie in or opt to explore the town this morning, before we make our way to the ancient capital, Ayutthaya, We’ll spend the day riding bikes around the city and exploring the ancient ruins of the UNESCO World Heritage site. We’ll learn about the culture and history of the city before grabbing lunch, and then jumping aboard the overnight train to Chiang Mai.

Day 5: Chiang Mai

After arriving in Chiang Mai, we’ll check into our new hotel. Choose to chill by the pool or explore the cities many famous temples. In the afternoon, we’ll make our way up to Chiang Mai’s most famous temple – Wat Pra Maha Doi Sutthep (or Doi Sutthep for short). It’s a stunningly beautiful golden temples situated high up on the mountainside, with incredible views of the city below and surrounding landscape.

Day 6: Chiang Mai → Mae Wang

Exclusive Jungle Trekking

Today, we explore the jungles of Mae Wang and Doi Inthanon in Southern Chiang Mai. Pick up from your hotel between 8:00 – 8:30AM. We will pick you up from your hotel and drive approximately 1 hour South of Chiang Mai. Visit a local market to buy supplies. Spend about 1 hour with the elephants and enjoy feeding and bathing in the river with them. Have lunch at the Karen tribal village. The trek will start in the Karen tribal village. Trek for approximately 5 Kilometers through the jungle to a Karen Tribal village where we will have dinner and spend the night.

Day 7: Mae Wang → Chiang Mai

Trekking & bamboo rafting

Have breakfast and coffee or tea. Start trekking for approximately 3 Kilometers to a waterfall. Visit a waterfall where we will have lunch, swim and relax. After lunch we continue trekking for 3 Kilometers to the Mae Wang river to start bamboo rafting. We will end our adventure with a one hour bamboo raft trip. Drive back to Chiang Mai. Return to hotel around 5:30PM.

Day 8: Chiang Mai → Pai

From Chiang Mai, we’ll make our way to Pai, which is a charming mountain town known for its relaxed backpacker atmosphere. However, before that, we’ll visit an elephant sanctuary that rescues elephants from tourist parks and logging industries. During the visit, we’ll get to know more about these majestic creatures, feed them, and take them for a refreshing swim in the river. Afterward, we’ll continue our journey to Pai, A mountain town, famous for it’s chilled out backpacker vibes, and spend the night there.

Day 9: Pai / The countryside

The surrounding countryside of Pai is full of delights and hidden gems. Our first stop is Thailand’s biggest cave – the Lod cave. We’ll wander through the caves main chambers and float through the river on bamboo rafts (weather permitting). Afterwards, we’ll head over to the local hot springs for a natural clay facial, visit a big buddha statue, and cool off in a waterfall before finishing the day with a beautiful sunset at the Pai Canyon. In the evening, we’ll head out for dinner and drinks, embracing Pai’s unique nightlife.

Day 10: Pai / Visit nearby village

Enjoy a free morning to spend your time as you like. Relax by the pool, and in the afternoon we will take a short trip to the Chineses village. We will enjoy lunch by the riverside and explore Pai’s laid back town center which boasts great shopping and awesome street food.

Day 11: Pai → Chiang Mai

After a relaxing couple of days in the mountains of Pai, it’s back to Chiang Mai. Spend your leisure time in Chiang Mai and explore the city on your own.

ADD-ON: Chiang Mai / Cooking Class

Today we’ll head to a local cooking school where we’ll learn all about Thai cuisine, and become a master at cooking up our favourite dishes. Some of the most delicious food in the country comes from the North, so with your new found skills, you can take the taste of Thailand home with you. Dinner is served as we enjoy our creations as a group with a beautiful scenery.

ADD-ON: Chiang Mai / CANYON

Today is spent at the Chiang Mai Canyon, a unused excavation site that’s been turned into a floating adult playground. Complete with inflatables, zip lines, cliff jumps, climbing walls, and much more. Great music, good vibes and fun times make for an awesome day out. In the evening we’ll head back to the city to celebrate our time in the north with dinner and drinks on our final night in Chiang Mai.

Day 12: Chiang Mai / Golden Triangle & Surroundings

At 7.00, visit Maekhajan hot springs, stunning Wat Rong Khun (White Temple) and Chiang Saen. Proceed to The famous Golden Triangle area of Northern Thailand. Lunch then visita border town in Mae Sai, visit Akha and Yao hill tribe villages.

Day 13: Chiang Mai → Bangkok

Spend the morning as you please; either enjoy an extra couple of hours in bed, or explore Chiang Mai’s markets and historic buildings. In the afternoon, transfer you to airport for flight to Bangkok.

Day 14: Bangkok / City tou

We arrive in Bangkok bright and early and will check into our Bangkok accommodation. Board a long-tail boat and travel along the Chao Phraya River. Visit the historic & prestigious temples – Wat Arun and Wat Pho, to see the very impressive giant and gold reclining Buddha statue. You will have a free afternoon which is best spent shopping to find some awesome bargains and to try the delicious street food Bangkok has to offer.

Day 15: Bangkok → Khao Sok

Night train to Khao Son

Enjoy a traditional Thai massage in the morning, before we travel overnight on the train down towards Khao Sok National Park. We leave the hustle and bustle of Bangkok behind us, and prepare to spend the next couple of days in the stunning Khao Sok National Park – situated in the Surat Thani province of Thailand.

Day 16: Khao Sok National Park

Today you will arrive in paradise, and one of our favourite locations in Thailand. Travel to our floating bungalows on a long-tail boat, and spend the rest of the day diving into the fresh-water lake, trying out some kayaking or cracking open a cold beer in a tube. We will spend the evening chilling and then dinner in front of the stunning backdrop of a limestone mountain range.

Day 17: Koh Pha Ngan / Relaxation at beach

Wake up fully relaxed in your floating bungalow; have a morning dip in the lake, then dig in for breakfast. Enjoy a chill morning here, before we make our way out to Koh Phangan. When we arrive, we go straight to Bottle Beach, a beautiful, secluded beach, that we pretty much all to ourselves. We stay in beachside bungalows metres away from the water. Settle in, relax on the beach, have a swim, or go for a wander around. In the evening, we’ll have a campfire on the beach, complete with our own private fire show.

Day 18: Koh Pha Ngan / Island boat trip

Spend the day on a boat cruising around Koh Phangan, stopping off at some epic spots for a swim and snorkel. Depending on the season, we’ll also visit the Than Sadet waterfall. We’ll include lunch, music and a free bucket (+ paid bar onboard)! Great day out on the ocean in the sun.

Day 19: Koh Tao

Catch the ferry across to Koh Tao where we’ll spend the next couple of nights. The island itself has a very chilled atmosphere, and you feel it as soon as you get off the ferry. We stay just a few minutes away from the beach, where we’ll spend the afternoon and then enjoy dinner and drinks in town.

Day 20: Koh Tao / Visit Koh Nang Yuan

Today we’ll hop over to the smaller island of Koh Nang Yuan, just off the coast. We’ll spend the day snorkelling in the crystal clear waters, and trek up to the viewpoint for the perfect postcard pic.

Day 21: Koh Tao

Enjoy the morning at your own pace. We’ll take a trip around to one of our personal favourite spots on the island – Tanote Bay, for those who are keen to enjoy the sunshine in tropical surroundings for the day. In the evening, we’ll board the overnight ferry over the mainland.

Day 22: Phi Phi island

Upon arrival to the mainland, we’re transferred to Phi Phi by private mini bus and boat to the western Thai island of Koh Phi Phi. Once we arrive onto Phi Phi, we’ll settle into our accommodation, before heading up the stunning viewpoint of the island below.

Day 23: Phi Phi island

Spend today on a boat cruising around all of the hotspots in the area, including Monkey Beach and the Viking Caves. We’ll stop at the entrance to Maya Bay, also known as The Beach – made famous in the Leonardo DiCaprio movie of the same name. We’ll snorkel and swim throughout the day, and lunch is included. Once we’re back on land, we’ll hit Phi Phi town for the lively backpacker party scene.

Day 24: Phuket

Our next and final stop is Phuket; the largest island of Thailand. Spend your leisure time on the island.

Day 25: Phuket / Departure

Today your Total Thailand trip comes to an end and it’s time to wave goodbye to the island.

Our driver takes you to airport for your departure flight.
