Day 1: Yangon / Arrival

Arrival in Yangon. Transferred to hotel. Explore every corner of Sule Pagoda. Evening great sunset at marvellous Shwedagon pagoda.

Day 2: Yangon / Bago

Drive to Bago. Visit KyaikkhatWyne Monestery, Bago market, Shwemawdaw Pagoda, weaving factory in Mon village, Kanbawzathardi Palace.
Back to Yangon, overnight at hotel.(B,L)

Day 3: Bagan / Twante

Drive to Twante. Experience the ordinary life in Twante and visit some pagodas.
Back to Yangon and overnight at hotel.(B,L)

Day 4: Inle Lake / Anticipated destinations

Drive to Thanlyin. Visit to Ancient Portuguese Church, local market, Yele Pagoda. Visit workshop and market on the way back to Yangon.
Overnight in Yangon. (B,L)

Day 5: Yangon / Fly back to Yangon

Visit Sule Pagoda. After lunch, proceed to China Town for walking and shoping.

Yangon & surroundings

Day 1: Yangon

Upon arrival at airport, welcome by our Guide. And then transfer to hotel for check-in.

Yangon, formerly known as Rangoon, is still a relatively quiet and charming city. Its impressive colonial and spiritual heritage makes Yangon one of the most fascinating and authentic capitals of South-East Asia. On the way visit Shwe Taw Myat Zedi (Buddha’s Replica Tooth Relic Pagoda, Kaba Aye Pagoda (World Peace Pagoda) built for memorial of the 1954-56 sixth Buddhist Synod, is located on Kaba Aye Pagoda Road, Mayangon Township. And then proceed to Mahapasana Guha : “Great Cave”, built close to the Kaba Aye Pagoda. Lunch at restaurant. After check in the hotel, take some relax for a while. Afternoon sightseeing Chaukhtatkyi Reclining Buddha Image: 230 ft (70 m) long in the pose of rest, the original image was built in 1907 and Shwedagon Pagoda: world famous glistening gold stupa towering over the city with spearing to height of 326 fees. Dinner will be served in Karaweik Palace Restaurant watching Myanmar Traditional Dances.

Day 2: Yangon – Bago – Yangon

After morning breakfast, our company guide will meet you at your hotel. Drive to Bago. (80 km, one hours driving) One the way, we visit to Htaukkyant War Cemetery. Then continue drive to Bago. The City was an ancient capital of Mon Kingdom in 15th century and enjoy the Bago sightseeing. First visit to KyaikkhatWyne Monestery for offering food to thousand monks and visit Bago Market. After lunch, visit to Shwethalyaung Reclining Buddha (55 meters long), Shwemawdaw Pagoda, 28 meter high huge Buddha Image of Kyaikpun Pagoda, Chinese Kwanyin Temple and observing the weaving factory in Mon village to see the way of life. Then visit to Kanbawzathardi Palace of King Bayinnaung. Transfer Back to Yangon, en-route visit to White Elephant and Marble sitting Buddha.

Day 3: Yangon – Twante – Yangon

Breakfast at the hotel, we start overland drive to Twante (1:30 hrs driving). Twante is 1:30 hrs driving from Yangon and Agriculture and Fisheries are the main business for local people. Local products such as bamboo, rattans, bamboo-trays, sieves, and bamboo-chairs are also produced there. As pottery is one of their traditional industries, you can see many potters’ workshops. Then visit to home industry of looms, as weaving. After visit to Shwe Sandaw pagoda, Baung Daw Gyoke Pagoda. After lunch, we visit to local market and observing at the fruit and vegetables lay out in baskets on the ground, dried fish, and tethered poultry. We drive back to Yangon .

Day 4: Yangon – Thanlyin – Yangon

Breakfast at the hotel, we start sightseeing to Thanlyin (Syriam) and across the Yangon river via Thanlyn Bridge built by Chinese engineers, an opportunity to see the countryside around Yangon. Visit to Ancient Portuguese Church (AD 1749 – 1750) and visit busy local market in Thanlyin. Proceed to Kyauk Tan and visit to Yele Pagoda (A floating Pagoda which is Pagoda on a small island in the middle of the river) is a popular pace of pilgrims. Then drive back to Yangon, lunch at local restaurant and visit to Jade & Ruby workshop, visit to Bogyoke Market, Indian Market and busy street of china town. In evening visit Botataung Pagoda and Nan Thida Jetty to see the panoramic view of the Yangon River.

Day 5: Yangon – Departure

Breakfast at the hotel. And then proceed sightseeing to Sule Pagoda at first. You will see many watch-repairers and photo-shop and Astrologer Palmist Shop around the Pagoda. And then you shouldn’t fail to enjoy the attraction of City Hall and other colonial buildings.

Lunch And then proceed to China Town: you can see a variety of restaurants, cyber café, clothing shops and street vendors. During the Chinese New Year holiday is most crowded in this part. Chinatown can give one an amazing experience. Then leisure and free time to shopping at Bogyoke (Scott’s) Market (closed on Monday) : which is a great place to pride up traditional and not traditional handicrafts, artworks, small antiques, junk jewellery and other souvenir shops until transfer to airport to precede your International flight for returning journey.
